Indigenous people of Brazil trying to prevent their eviction from an old indigenous museum which they have been living in for the past 7 years.
On March 22nd all of the inhabitants and their supporters were forcibly removed or arrested.
The building is being destroyed to make a parking lot :(

Behind this there is ODEBRECHT S.A., a brazilian corporation, same one that in 2007 was expelled (by Correa’s goverment) for fraud from Ecuador (my country) due to the poor work in one huge hidroelectric plant (san francisco)… same one that since 2011 was welcomed back (to Ecuador again) without public explanation and now Correa’s goverment has given them around 300 million USD in contracts!
This reminds me I should make a post about what’s been happening in Yasuni National Park and the extermination of the “non-contacted” tribes of the Amazonia. This goverment has a lot of blood on their hands, and specially the criminal timber and oil industry!
